What we do

In the Netherlands, ARN Auto Recycling is responsible for managing the recycling of end-of-life cars, and is charged with ensuring that the legal standard of recycling 85% of vehicle weight is achieved. The law requires that the percentage rises to 95% by 2015. ARN Auto Recycling and its network of almost 300 chain partners ensure that discarded cars are processed in an environmentally sound manner.

The recycling chain starts at the vehicle dismantling company, where materials and liquids are removed from the end-of-life car. Collection companies collect the materials and liquids at the vehicle dismantling company and transport them to the processing companies. At the processing companies, the materials undergo high-end processing.
