Process

Thanks to our PST plant, it’s possible to recycle approximately 95% of end-of-life cars. 85% of this can be reused as a product or material while 10% can be incinerated to generate power. The process used for this was developed by Volkswagen AG and SiCon GmbH, and is known as the VW-SiCon® process. This is a process that uses mechanical separation methods to process shredder waste into usable materials. The plastic separation module comes from Galloo.
