Mission & strategy

ARN is an organisation with a very clear and specific mission: to achieve the statutory target of reaching a recycling rate of 95% for end-of-life cars in the Netherlands by 2015 at the latest. It has already partially achieved this goal and has already defined and started implementing the additional steps that need to be taken to complete the task. The PST plant is an important link in accomplishing that objective.

ARN’s ambition is to be recognised as the leading centre of expertise for recycling and the creation of recycling chains for the mobility sector throughout Europe within ten years. ARN wants to achieve this by marketing its know-how through its consultancy services and by making its expertise available to others through its services. In the long term, ARN wants to be able to sustain itself with commercial activities.
